Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Cookyori account — or specific data. Accounts are created in the iOS and Android apps, and deletion is handled the same way in both.

1. How to Request Deletion

In the iOS or Android app: open Settings and choose Delete account. You’ll be asked to confirm, and the account is deleted right away.

Anywhere else: send an email to contact@ljtechlabs.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We may reply to verify it’s really you. Once verified, we complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by email.

2. What Gets Deleted

Deleting your account removes:

• Your account and sign-in (email, display name, authentication record);
• Your saved recipe collection and how you organized it;
• Your activity — video submissions, reports, and feedback tied to your account.

Two things are not tied to your identity and therefore remain: structured recipes themselves, which are shared across all users who submit the same video (see the Privacy Policy, Section 6), and preferences stored only on your device (for example, favorites in the mobile apps — remove those by uninstalling the app). Copies in routine backups are purged on the normal backup cycle, and we may retain records where the law requires it.

3. Deleting Data Without Closing Your Account

You can delete saved recipes yourself at any time from your collection. If you want other data removed — for example, your submission history — without deleting the account, email contact@ljtechlabs.com with the subject “Delete my data” and tell us what to remove. The same verification and 30-day timeline apply.
